Aim of the project:
The research aims to trea solid waste remaining after the treatment of domestic wastewater, which is considered low-value waste, by breeding a type of insect on this waste. The insects will analyze and decompose the waste, resulting in insects that are rich in natural fats and proteins. The fats can be converted into biodiesel through chemical or biological methods, and the proteins can be used as animal feed or fish food.
