Results meetings within the Scientific Research Competition Program
The research results mark a transitional phase in testing hypotheses, confirming or refuting them. As part of the “Scientific Research” program, students analyzed their findings at the Galilee Society. The next step involves drawing conclusions from their experiments. The attached photos are from Al-Mazra’a Elementary School, within the EU-funded “Unity and Diversity in Nature and Society” project.
Experimental Meetings within the Scientific Research Competition Program
The Experimental Meeting is a key session in the “Scientific Research” program by the Galilee Society. It allows students to conduct experiments, enhancing their understanding through hands-on learning. This approach strengthens knowledge retention, promotes interactive learning, and develops reasoning skills. The sessions, involving students from Kafr Manda and Al-Mazra’a schools, are part of the EU-funded “Unity and Diversity in Nature and Society” project.
"The Green School Program"
Integrating Environmental Education into Schools
The Green School Project engages teachers and students in environmental responsibility. As part of this initiative, the Scientific Education Center developed the “Green School Program” for Arab Al-Heeb Elementary School, covering pollution, water conservation, energy saving, climate change, and more. Activities include school sessions and visits to the Galilee Society, where students watch films and participate in workshops.
Consumer Culture and the Influence of Media on Consumers
Promoting Environmental Awareness in Schools
The Galilee Society launched the Environmental Education Project to instill sustainability values in schools. Specialized instructors conduct activities across Arab towns, including a recent workshop in Arraba with the local municipality. Fourth-grade students at Al-Batouf Elementary learned about consumer culture, media influence, and resource conservation. The project is funded by the Ministry of Environmental Protection.
